Jammu, March 2, 2026 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the family of Selection Grade Constable Sunny Salgotra, who lost his life in a road accident in January.
Salgotra, a resident of Arnia in Jammu district, was serving in the Special Security Force (SSF) and was part of the security entourage assigned to the Lt Governor. He died on January 28 after his motorcycle was hit by a car near Rotary Chowk in Jammu city.
During the visit to the bereaved family’s residence, LG Sinha paid homage to the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He assured the family of all possible assistance and support from the government during this difficult time.
The visit reflected the administration’s solidarity with the family of the fallen personnel who was on duty at the time of the tragic incident.
