Jammu, April 17, 2026 : Jammu & Kashmir has secured the 3rd rank nationally under Mission Karmayogi during SĀDHANA Saptah, marking a significant achievement in strengthening governance through capacity building and continuous learning.
The recognition highlights the Union Territory’s effective implementation of the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building, focusing on competency-driven governance, role-based training, and digital learning via the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
Key Highlights:
- Over 2 lakh officials onboarded on the iGOT platform
- 4.13 lakh course completions recorded
- 2.74 lakh AI-focused course completions
- Thousands of employees actively engaged in extended learning hours
The award was presented at the SĀDHANA Saptah Facilitation Ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, where Jitendra Singh felicitated top-performing states, UTs, and institutions.
In a major milestone, the Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development received a Special Award for Excellence, becoming the first institution in India to successfully complete Capacity Building Plans across all departments—setting a national benchmark.
The achievement reflects a structured and closely monitored approach by the J&K administration, with strong emphasis on training participation, digital learning, and administrative reforms.
This recognition underscores the Union Territory’s commitment to building a competent, accountable, and citizen-centric civil service, aligned with the broader vision of governance reforms under Mission Karmayogi.
