K Jegadesan, a 1998 batch IPS officer who was serving in the Protective Security Division along with additional charge as Managing Director of Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited (DPHCL), has been transferred as Special Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Division. He will continue to retain the additional charge of MD/DPHC.

Similarly, Ajay Chaudhry, a 1996 batch IPS officer serving in the Vigilance Division with additional responsibility of SPUWAC, has been appointed as Special Commissioner of Police, Protective Security Division.

Senior officer David Lalrinsanga, currently heading the Operations Division dealing with PCR and Communication, has been assigned additional charge of SPUWAC along with SPUNER.

Atul Katiyar, a 1997 batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer serving in the Welfare Division with additional responsibilities of Licensing and Legal Division, has now been posted as Special Commissioner of Police, Vigilance Division while continuing to hold additional charge of Welfare and Licensing.

In another key development, Vijay Kumar, a 1997 batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer currently serving in the Armed Police Division, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Public Transport Safety Division.
