MUMBAI, May 20, 2026 : Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi will review the prestigious Passing Out Parade of the 150th course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune on May 30, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.
The grand ceremonial event will take place at the iconic Khetarpal Parade Ground at the NDA campus in Khadakwasla and will mark the successful completion of rigorous military and academic training for nearly 355 cadets from the Army, Navy and Air Force during the Spring Term – 2026.
General Upendra Dwivedi will attend the ceremony as the Reviewing Officer and inspect the marching contingents during the parade.
Ahead of the Passing Out Parade, the convocation ceremony for the 150th course will be held on May 29 at Habibullah Hall within the NDA campus. Former IPS officer and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi, will attend the occasion as the chief guest and address the graduating cadets.
Recognised as the cradle of military leadership in India, the National Defence Academy is the country’s premier tri-services military training institution and is regarded among the finest defence academies in the world. The academy is known for providing comprehensive military, academic and character-building training to prepare future officers for leadership roles in the armed forces.
The Passing Out Parade will feature a spectacular military display including ceremonial marches, inspection of contingents, presentation of medals and awards, fly-pasts by military aircraft and helicopters, along with the emotional and symbolic “Antim Pag” ceremony performed by the graduating cadets.
The event is expected to witness participation from senior defence officials, military families and dignitaries from across the country.
