NEW DELHI, May 26, 2026 : In a significant administrative development, four senior IPS officers of the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir cadre have been empanelled for appointment to Inspector General (IG) rank positions in the Government of India.
The officers cleared for empanelment are Vikramjit Singh, Abdul Jabbar, Sarah Rizvi and Tejinder Singh.
The empanelment will pave the way for their appointment to key positions across various ministries, departments and central security agencies under the Government of India.
