Bandipora, 01 Oct.:-Hafiz Mohammad Sikander Malik, the Jamaat-e-Islami-backed candidate for the Bandipora constituency, expressed his hopes for change after casting his vote. He stated, “This election represents an opportunity for change in J&K. I’ve heard many issues during the campaign, and if elected, I aim to address those problems.” Malik noted that Jamaat-e-Islami previously stayed out of elections to protest the rigging of 1987 but has now decided to participate again, believing the situation has improved.
