Katra, June 18, 2026 : Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Thursday visited the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra and offered prayers at the holy cave shrine, seeking blessings amid his spiritual pilgrimage to one of the country’s most sacred religious destinations.
The actor undertook the pilgrimage under tight security arrangements and spent time at the shrine performing religious rituals and paying obeisance to Mata Vaishno Devi.
His visit drew significant attention from devotees and tourists present at the shrine, many of whom gathered along the route and at the shrine complex in the hope of catching a glimpse of the popular Bollywood star.
