Srinagar, May 29, 2026 : The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has officially announced a 10-day summer break for faculty members and students from July 1 to July 10, 2026, as part of the approved academic calendar for the 2026–27 academic session.
According to an official circular issued by the Assistant Registrar of Academic Affairs, the university will observe the scheduled summer vacation during the first week of July while ensuring that essential academic processes continue without disruption.
The university administration stated that regular classwork for odd semesters will resume from July 13, 2026, following the conclusion of the vacation period.
The circular further clarified that the online registration process for odd semesters will continue uninterrupted during the summer break as per the already notified schedule, allowing students to complete necessary academic formalities on time.
University authorities advised students and faculty members to stay updated with official notifications and adhere to the academic schedule issued for the upcoming session.
The announcement provides students and staff a brief mid-session break while ensuring continuity in administrative and academic operations through online systems.
