JAMMU, July 16, 2026 : The Jammu and Kashmir Government has relieved two Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers of the AGMUT cadre with immediate effect following orders issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for their new assignments.
Sandeep Kujur (AGMUT:1995), Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Director, Social Forestry, who was also holding the additional charge of Director, Soil and Water Conservation, has been relieved to join as Deputy Director General of Forests (DDGF) at the Regional Office in Dehradun on deputation.
Meanwhile, Satyendra Maurya (AGMUT:2020), who was serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) and Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Udhampur Forest Division, has also been relieved from Jammu and Kashmir to assume his new assignment in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
The relieving orders come in compliance with directions issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, paving the way for both officers to take charge of their new responsibilities.
