For many, this marks a significant moment as elections are being held after a decade. The voters expressed their gratitude to the Election Commission of India (ECI) for successfully organizing the elections after such a long gap.
Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, one of the voters who spoke to the media, highlighted the positive voter turnout. “After 10 years, we are excited to elect a representative who will address our genuine demands. The turnout is good, and the people are motivated to make their voices heard.”
Another voter, Hilal Ahmad, shared his optimism, stating, “I am hopeful that the voter turnout will reach 60%. I cast my vote for a new candidate because the previous one did not work for the welfare of the people.
