Sumbal:- Political leader Rather Mehraj, along with more than 45 customers, staged a protest against the JK Bank Sumbal branch, alleging that the branch had issued loans without their permission and failed to provide them with any information regarding the loans. The protestors claimed that the loans were taken out in their names without consent, raising serious concerns about the bank’s transparency.
This incident has alarmed many, especially given JK Bank’s history of involvement in loan fraud cases. The affected customers demanded that the bank provide clear explanations and take immediate corrective action.
Rather Mehraj, who led the protest, appealed to higher authorities to step in and address the issue, urging them to resolve their legitimate grievances as soon as possible. He also called for strict action against the officials involved in these alleged practices.
When contacted for clarification, the branch manager stated, “I am not the authority to give any clarification regarding it.” This response has only fueled the frustration among customers, who are now pushing for accountability and justice.
