JAMMU, April 30, 2026 : Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo inaugurated the Jammu & Kashmir Security Operations Centre (JK SOC), marking a major step toward strengthening the Union Territoryās cyber security framework.

The newly established JK SOC will:
- Provide 24Ć7 monitoring of government digital systems
- Enable real-time threat detection & response
- Protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data from cyber attacks
Dulloo ŠæŠ¾Š“ŃŠµŃŠŗ that with rapid digitisation of governance, robust cyber security is now essential to ensure safe and seamless public service delivery.

The centre is equipped with:
- Threat intelligence systems
- Vulnerability assessment tools
- Security analytics for proactive defence
It will also work closely with national agencies like CERT-In for coordinated cyber incident management.
