SRINAGAR, April 24, 2026 : In a decisive move against Terror-related activities, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has attached a plot of land belonging to a terror accused in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials confirmed that the property, located in the SK Bagh area, belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, a resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony in Nowgam.
Parimoo is currently in NIA custody in connection with a case registered under multiple stringent laws, including:
- Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA)
- Arms Act
- Explosive Substances Act
The attachment of property is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks by targeting their financial and logistical support systems.
Authorities continue to intensify action against individuals and assets linked to unlawful and anti-national activities in the region.
