Udhampur, Jun 26,2025 : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday attached movable and immovable property worth over ₹50 lakh belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Udhampur district, officials said.

The action was taken against Sanjay Kumar alias ‘Sanju Bawa’ of Upper Hartiyan under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, in connection with a case registered earlier this year, a police spokesperson said.

During the investigation, a residential house and a motorcycle owned by the accused were identified as illegally acquired assets. Kumar had also been named in a 2022 FIR filed at Rehambal Police Station under various provisions of the NDPS Act.
