‘My Town My Pride’ campaign: Joint grievances redressal camp held at Ward 20

Register civic issues of Gandhi Nagar upto Dec 4

JAMMU, Dec 1: As a part of ‘My Town My Pride’ campaign, a grievances redressal camp was held at the office of Ward No 20 Gandhi Nagar here today.

On the occasion, Councillor Ward No 20, Rahul Kumar listened to the issues raised by the general public being related to civic issues of their respective areas.

Many deputations including individual persons visited the Ward office to discuss their issues with the local Councillors. They put forth various issues pertaining to basic amenities including drinking water, electricity, roads, etc. They sought immediate resolution of their pressing issues.

Pertinent to mention here a joint grievances redressal camp of four Wards No 19, 20, 21, 22, 47 and 48 was held at the Office of Ward No 20.

While giving a patient hearing to the deputations, Rahul Kumar assured to take up the issues putforth by the deputation with the concerned authorities and get the same resolved at the earliest.

Kumar said that the initiative taken by the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha is a proactive measure which will undoubtedly bridge the gap between the people and Administration thus helping resolving issues of the people within a short span of time on priority basis.

“Modi government has initiated number of development projects in the last couple of years and very soon the results would start coming out changing the development profile of the region. The stakeholders in J&K are working relentlessly for achieving the goal of making the Union Territory an example for its counterparts with up to the mark edifice and all round development,” he said.

The senior BJP leader said that the Party is fully committed to address the day to day problems being faced by the people. He stressed on the party’s sincere attempt to have direct interaction with the masses and provide best possible solutions to their day to day administrativeand development issues. He said that it is a sincere attempt to lessen the gap between administration and people and ensure that genuine issues of people are redressed in an efficacious way.

Rahul Kumar appealed to the people of aforesaid Wards to visit the grievances redressal camp and register their issues upto December 4 with an aim to get redressal of same at the earliest.
