SRINAGAR, April 24, 2026: In a strong Step against drug trafficking, police in Srinagar have deployed a narcotic dog squad across multiple locations to enhance enforcement under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
According to officials, specially trained sniffer dogs have been stationed at key checkpoints throughout the city to:
- Detect concealed narcotics
- Identify drug peddlers
- Assist in on-the-spot enforcement
The use of highly trained canines significantly boosts detection capabilities, allowing police to act swiftly against illegal drug movement.
