Strengthening BJP at booth level vital for winning poll: Kavinder

More than 100 people of Gujjar and Bakerwal communities join BJP

Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Thursday asserted that strengthening the party at booth level is significant for ensuring victory in polls.

He said this while addressing public gatherings at remote villages of Reasi district wherein more than 100 people of Gujjar and Bakerwal communities embraced party fold after getting impressed with the ideology of BJP which asserts Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.

DDC Reasi Saraf Singh Naag and Ex MLA Reasi Baldev Raj Sharma also accompanied the BJP’s stalwart leader during the visit to two villages of Reasi.

Giving a warm welcome to BJP’s senior functionary, the locals extended wholehearted support to the BJP leadership for fulfilling the long pending demand of renaming the constituency as Mata Vaishno Devi constituency. They said that it is only BJP which has the guts and the will to satiate the aspirations of the people and that is the reason people in large numbers are coming out in support of this party.

Meanwhile, Kavinder also paid obeisance at Dera Baba Banda Bahadur – Reasi on the occasion of Baisakhi. The managing committee of Dera Baba Banda Bahadur felicitated Kavinder Gupta.

Kavinder extended greetings to people on the occasion of Baisakhi and asked them to maintain bonhomie and brotherhood which is part and parcel of the rich ethos of Jammu and Kashmir since ages.

The senior BJP leader asked people to remain wary against the divisive forces which are hell-bent to divide society only to satiate their vested interests and to have political mileage. He said that people need not to wander when there is a nationalist party well in their approach and is doing commendable work in bringing development at the doorsteps and peace across the region.

Kavinder asked the grassroots level workers of the party to concentrate on making their booths strong as this is the key to winning political battles. He also asked them to disseminate information about the party’s policies and achievements among the people to make them understand the value of BJP remaining in power as other political parties never think beyond their petty personal interests.

Among those who were present include Sheetal Magotra, District President, Nirmal Devi, DDC Katra, Sudesh Puri, Chairman Municipal Committee Reasi; Yograj Raina Vice Chairman VC MC Reasi; Chaman BhagatState Vice President SC Morcha, Bodhraj, Sunil Sharma, Parkash Singh, Suraj Parkash, Subash CHander, Mool Raj, Sudesh Kumar, Mohammad Shafi, Renu Sharma, Gulshan and Shiv Kumar Sharma.
