ANANTNAG, April 30, 2026 : In a move aimed at improving patient care and administrative efficiency, the Health & Medical Education Department has ordered a key reshuffle at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag.
As per official orders, Dr Bilal Mashraf Banday, Consultant Pathology currently posted at District Hospital Budgam, has been deputed to GMC Anantnag and given charge as Medical Superintendent until further orders.
🔄 Change in Administration
- Dr Arshad Hussain Siddiqui, who was serving as Medical Superintendent, has been attached to the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) in Srinagar
- The reshuffle has been implemented under Government Order No. 388-JK (HME) of 2026
