KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 05, 2026  : At least two people were killed after an oil tanker met with a road accident at Pathimhal in the Palmar area of Kishtwar district on Saturday.

According to officials, the tanker was travelling through the area when the accident occurred, resulting in the on-the-spot deaths of two persons travelling in the vehicle.

Soon after the incident, police personnel and local residents rushed to the accident site and initiated necessary action.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed by authorities.
